Careers · Loving Your Garden
Come build the best gardens on the Coast
We are hiring two kinds of people. An eager gardener who wants to learn the craft properly, and a senior hand ready to help run the show. If you take pride in your work and move at a good pace without dropping the standard, keep reading.
Why this is different
Not a mow-and-go crew
Most garden jobs on the Coast are the same job: turn up, mow it, blow it, move on. We have never been interested in that. Loving Your Garden does high end makeovers, soft landscaping and soulful care for some of the finest homes and acreage between Noosa and Maroochydore.
That means the people we hire matter more than almost anything. A small, deeply experienced crew, no subbies, no strangers in the client’s garden. The kind of team where the knowledge of a property compounds instead of walking off the job.
So we hire for heart first and skill second, because skill we can teach. If you feel about gardens the way we do, there is a place for you here, and a real future in it.
At a glance
- Based on the Sunshine Coast, QLD
- Premium gardens, Noosa to Maroochydore
- Small, accountable crew of four
- Led by a triple-qualified horticulturist
- In-house training, real progression
Two roles, open now
We are looking for two kinds of people
One ready to learn the trade from the ground up. One ready to help lead it. Read both. You will know which one is you.

For the eager ones
The Gardener
You do not need a single qualification. You need to want it.
You are
- Fit, reliable, and good for an early start
- Keen to learn the trade properly, not just collect a wage
- The kind who notices the weed everyone else walked past
- Easy to have around on a long, hot day
- Licensed, ideally with a ute of your own
You will
- Plant, mulch, edge, hedge and shape gardens across the Coast’s finest properties
- Learn soft landscaping, planting and garden care from the ground up
- Train in house alongside a qualified horticulturist
- Build a real trade, not just a job

For the rare ones
The 2IC
The right hand Chris can hand a job to and never think about again.
You are
- Experienced on the tools, horticulturally minded or qualified
- Able to read a garden, a job and a client with equal ease
- Calm in charge of a site, and the standard lifts when you are on it
- Ready to mentor the younger hands coming through
You will
- Lead crews on makeovers and soft landscaping, end to end
- Set the pace and hold the standard Chris is known for
- Liaise with clients on site and keep jobs running sweetly
- Help shape how the business grows from here
Why work here
What we put on the table
01
Learn from the best
A business led by one of the few on the Coast holding three trades at once: qualified landscape gardener, certified horticulturist and certified landscape designer. The knowledge rubs off.
02
Beautiful properties, not mow-and-go
Premium homes, acreage and holiday estates from Noosa to Maroochydore. The work is varied, considered, and worth being proud of.
03
A small, accountable crew
No subbies, no faceless roster. You will be one of a tight team where your name and your work actually mean something.
04
Real in-house training
Ongoing horticulture training built into the job, so you get sharper every season instead of stuck doing the same thing forever.
05
Looked after, paid properly
Good gear, fair conditions, and pay that reflects what you are worth rather than what we can get away with. We would rather keep great people than churn cheap ones.
06
The best office on Earth
Outdoors, on the most beautiful patch of the country, with the Coast’s gardens as your workshop.
Who thrives here
The crew is only as good as who we let through the gate
Qualifications open a door. These are what keep it open. If you read this list and nod, we should talk. If you read it and shrug, we are probably not your people, and that is alright too.
01
You give a damn about the details
02
You turn up, on time, every time
03
You work fast without cutting corners
04
You are not afraid of hard work. It is physical, and the Queensland sun is real
05
You are genuinely good to be around
06
You love being outdoors and watching things grow
Straight up
We will not sugar-coat it
This is real work. Early starts, full days, heat, rain, heavy lifting and a standard we do not drop. If that sounds like hard yakka, it is. But if you are the kind of person who finishes a day tired, filthy and quietly proud of what you built, there is no better crew on the Coast to do it with.
